Research note: Only son; teacher; twice married in Kaunas; permitted to make aliyah in 1938; the richest documentary witness on this whole file. The Dr. Shimon Zak who died in Jerusalem in 1975 is a different man, a Jonava-born physician (Q-20). His own death date and grave are unknown.
