Lola Teller’s yahrzeit and burial

Family yahrzeit notices identify her as Rivka-Leyah daughter of Akiva and Reizel and give 17 Sivan. Beth Moses records Lola Teller’s death on 15 June 2014, age 94, and burial in section 2, block 18, row 8, grave 4, society Beth Hamedrash Chasidei Belz, interment B68615.

The cemetery record corroborates date and burial. It does not itself prove parentage.

Rzepiennik material

Jacob Teller identified Rzepiennik as the origin of Zeidie Teller’s father. Eight 2017 photographs document cemetery renovation; they do not show readable family inscriptions. A pre-publication article draft is kept privately by the family and is not reproduced.

Still only a lead

A Hamodia interview lead exists, but its text has not been recovered. USHMM catalogs a Rzepiennik oral history whose content has not been reviewed and does not yet identify this family.

Can someone in the family check Sefer Oshpitsin, page 611?

If you have a copy of Sefer Oshpitsin (the Oshpitzin/Oshpetzin yizkor book), please photograph page 611, the Schnitzer family article, including the page number and heading, and share the images with the family. We are trying to learn more about Shmuel Schnitzer and his wife Sara, especially their daughter Reizel, Lola Teller's mother. The Teller family tree gives Sara's maiden name as Kempler. The memorial database lists her as Sara Lea; Lea is a middle name, not a surname, and may add to her recorded full name if that reading is right. Page 611 may help confirm her full name and the household. This is a request for a source, not a change to the family tree. Other findings and open questions remain on the site.

The English online translation stops before page 611. The National Library of Israel lists physical copies, but no online scan of this page has been found. If an online image or a family copy turns up, we can read it and update this question.
