Research note: Chart sentence: “R’ Aryeh Leib Zak and Tova — the chart marks him only ‘?’ and does not show her — had two sons: Rav Avraham Abba HaCohen Zak (d. 1941) and Mendel… Mendel married a woman written only ‘A.’” The chart gives only the given name “Mendel.” The surname “Zak” shown here is a display inference from his father R’ Aryeh Leib Zak and brother Rav Avraham Abba Zak, not stated on the chart itself; name_source retains the given name alone. His unnamed wife (‘A’ on the chart) is not separately added.
